Minutes of the meeting of Withiel Parish Council held in Withiel Village Hall
on Wednesday 6th November 2013 commencing at 7.15pm

Present: Cllr Thomas (Chairman), Cllr Harper, Cllr Kirkby, Cllr Shearer, Cllr Coy (Honorary Clerk)
In attendance: Cllr Batters (CC), plus four members of the public.

125-13 Invitation For Members of The Public to Address The Meeting:
Mr Nick Warren (Jnr) spoke concerning PA13/08951. He explained that it was an agricultural dwelling for himself and his partner. Access would be from the Green Road which at that point was also the Saints Way, over which Higher Tregustick had a right of way.
Mrs Anne Cardew spoke concerning a low thrumming noise at Tremore Valley House, and in the fields above the house. CC Batters will take this up with the appropriate officer.
Cllr Batters (Cornwall Council) spoke of a fire at Millpool where a hydrant was blocked. Hydrants should be checked every 5 years. We should look at our hydrants!
131-13 Planning PA13/08951. Application for a new agricultural dwelling at Higher Tregustick. (This item was held out of agenda sequence to allow Mr Warren to participate and depart.)
The application was for a single new farmhouse of a gross internal floor area (excluding Farm Office, garage and boot room) of 140 sq m or thereabouts, which is the size commensurate with the NCDC Local Plan. Applicants, N. NA. and NT. Warren.
Resolved: the Parish Council to support the application.
